Intel Classmate UMPC heading to Vietnam

Intel Classmate UMPC

While we enjoy exploring what we can do with Asus Eee pc and trying lots of hack from connectivity, OS‘es or give it a touchscreen, Vietnam is ready to get their UMPC which is Intel Classmate. Comes with specifications similar with Asus Eee pc, Intel Classmate has the same 7-inch display with 800 x 480pixels resolution, same Celeron 900 MHz processor and same Wifi support. Unfortunately there are only 256MB RAM instead of 512MB and only 1GB flash storage.

The Intel Classmate will running Hacao Linux 2.16. Although Classmate got lower specs compared to Eee, somehow it is priced at $340. A little too pricey to me….
