Gigabyte M700 UMPC
More detail of the Gigabyte’s 7-inch UMPC called Gigabyte M700 is revealed after its initial specs surface from last March. Powered by a 1.2 GHz VIA processor with VX800 chipset which has Chrome 9 graphics and video decoding hardware in it, M700 offer 1024×600 screen resolution.Judging from that, we can see that M700 is not an average 7-inch UMPC. But there’s more.M700 comes with a docking station which is ‘IPTV’ capable to make it a mobile media center.
Gigabyte M700 has 1GB RAM ( up to 2 GB) and 40 GB HDD on its standard packet. Other features should include Wifi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0. and a webcam.Expected to be available in Q3 2008, no pricing announced so far.
