Asus preparing 9-inch Touchscreen Eee PC

Asustek announcing at CES its plan to make second generation of Asus Eee pc which will have bigger screen ranging from 7 to 10-inch. And now they give some clue to DigiTimes that they will change the future 9-inch Eee pc’s LCD screen to 9-inch touchscreen. Now thats what I call improvement…Inspired by this hack propably ? Well, I guess not, I think its already in their original plan.

And while the touchscreen Eee hack will cost you around $60 and some soldering works, the Touchscreen on 9-inch Eee pc will only cost Asus additional $15 manufacturing cost. I Hope can maintain the Eee pc’s low price even when it comes with a touchscreen.
