Asustek officially announced the Asus Eee pc umpc four models with different hardware configurations. All Asus Eee models has 7-inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolutions and weighs at about 1 kg.Alll Asus Eee also boasts wifi b/g, a memory card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, ethernet LAN and a VGA out.Although Asus Eee is pre-installed with Linux OS, it has Windows XP compatibility.

The four new models are  Asus Eee PC 8G, Eee PC 4G, Eee PC 4G Surf, and the Eee PC 2G Surf.

Asus Eee pc 8G sports 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in flash based memory storageand a  built-in webcam.its battery can last for 3.5 hours.

Asus Eee pc 4G has 512 MB RAM, 4GB flash storage,  a webcam and 3.5 hours battery life.

Asus Eee pc 4G Surf has the same specs with Asus Eee pc 4G but lack of webcam and has shorten battery life(2.8 hours).

Asus Eee pc 2G Surf,yes, you’re right. it is the 4G Surf model with 256MB RAM and 2GB flash storage.

Although Asustek didn’t say anything about its release date, we can expect that they will be available by the end of this month with price ranged from $259.99 to $399.99 depending on models.
