While Asian still waiting to get intouch with the lovely Asus Eee PC 701, laptopmag.com already unboxing the UMPC and write its review for us. Laptopmag got the $399 Eee pc model which is powered by Intel Celeron processor, 4GB storage capacity and yes, a 7-inch displaywith 800 x 480 pixels resolution.Although its price is as much as regular Celeron notebook but with lower hardware specs ( no DVD on Asus Eee pc), Laptopmag recommend the Asus Eee pc for ” children and older customers“. What impress the reviewer is its start-up time which is only took half time of regular notebook and the Asus Eee PC 701 connects to the Internet easily.In short, Laptop Mag called the Eee PC: Pound for pound, the best value-priced notebook on the planet.
