Panasonic 85-inch plasma

A 85 inch plasma display is announced by Panasonic yesterday. Designed for presentations or used as an electronic billboard , this Panasonic’s 85 inch display offer 1080p resolution, 40,000:1 contrast ratio and 2,000,000:1 dynamic ratio.Amazingly, its thickness is just 3.9 inch make its weight just 287 pounds, relatively light considering its gigantic dimension.

For video input, there are ethernet port, a dual-link HD-SDI input and a DVI input.No words on its price just yet but its release date will be sometime this fall.
