Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000B a 1 Terabyte HDD with Built-In Encryption
Hitachi’s Desktar 7K1000B is the company’s successor of the Desktar 1TB HDD. Desktar 7K1000B also offering 1 terabyte storage space like its predesessor but consume 43% less power when idle. Built with a three-disk layout, Desktar 7K1000B is provide 32MB buffer.Another additional feature is its built-in encryption which thankfully doesn’t impact on read/write speeds at all.
Desktar 7K1000B will be available later this month with $279 price tag.
