Truphone Turn iPod touch in to iPhone
Truphone release a software which lets MP3 player ewquipped with Wifi to become a cellphone. This Truphone application allows users to make or receive phone calls to other iPod touch owners using a Wi-Fi connection. The software also capable to make phone calls to users of the Google Talk’s messaging service as well as customers of Truphone’s Internet telephone service. Truphone promise that phone call to landlines will be capable in the next version.
Feature for connection to IM Skype and MSN VoIP users as well as to check and set Twitter and Facebook is in the works. The Truphone application creates a virtual keyboard on second-generation iPod Touchs to dial calls and requires the addition of a headset and microphone. [source]
