Google ‘My Location’, Locator software without GPS Receiver
‘My Location’ is the name of the Google’s software locator combined with Google Maps for handset locator when for every smartphone or Blackberry device which doesn’t come with GPS receiver. For GPS enabled smartphone, My Location still usefull because it works better indoor and it drain less battery power than using GPS. Google My Location work on BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian phones as well as many phones that support Java.
For paranoid out there, it is confirmed that this Google service will not collect phone numbers or any other personal details, yet.Hmm.. somehow, this software remind me of NaviZon, GPS software for iPhone.
