Xperia X2 Announced, Runs Windows Mobile 6.5

Xperia X2 smartphone is finally announced by Sony Ericsson today. Comes in a slider design like the Xperia X1, Xperia X2 offer SlideView feature to let its user to “quick access to frequently used phone activities”. 14 Xperia panels also preloaded to X2 while other 16 available for download.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and of course you also get Office Mobile, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Internet Explorer Mobile in the package.

X2 support QuadbandGSM network and Tri-band UMTS/HSPA connectivity. Other main features including Wifi, 8.1MPix camera and a 3.2 inch touchscreeen display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Will be available in Elegant Black and Modern Silver color options, Xperia X2 has release date in Q4 2009 which probably October 6 while its price still un-announced.
