Samsung U940 Goes to Verizon as Q-Ball
The Samsung U940 which is the CDMA version of the Samsung F700 is officially announced as the next Verizon Wireless smartphone. Verizon will call the U940 as Samsung Q-Ball phone. Like its GSM brother the Samsung F700, The U940 boasts a 2.78-inch screen, 5MP camera and HSDPA support ( up to 7.6Mbps).
The Verizon Q-Ball phone will be available in the Q1 2008 but its price is not announced yet. Another phone which also will be available in Q1 at Verizon is the LG VX9100 which has Bluetooth and EV-DO support.
