When you won’t pay a huge amount of money to purchase a Samsung Omnia or a Samsung i780 touch screen smartphone, Sammy is preparing a lower priced touchscreen smartphone named Samsung SGH-i740. As the successor of Samsung i710, i740 unfortunately only support 2.5 network, means you  only have GPRS option to connect to internet. But if you know a comfortable hotspot around you, you don’t have to worry about it since samsung packed Wifi support to this smartphone.

Come in a  107 x 59 x 13.8 mm dimension, Samsung i740 sport a 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, USB 2.0 support, GPS, FM tuner and Bluetooth. Powered by a 624 MHz processor, Samsung i740 is running Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
