Samsung Alias 2 is expected to be released on May 11th through Verizon Wireless. As a sucessor of the Samsung Alias, Alias2 comes in a 2-way flip form factor and has similar dimension with original Alias measured at 4.01 x 2.04 x 0.67 inch and weighted at 4.34 ounces, a slighty bigger indeed. Sport a 2.6 inch TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, Samsung Alias 2 capable to deliver 8 lines of text in portrait mode or 5 in landscape.

Its unique feature is its Magic Keypad which can transform from usial phone keypad to qwerty keyboard using electronic ink technology. Alias 2 also sport 2MP camera, GPS, EVDO digital, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. Samsung Alias 2’s price will be $249 off contract or $149 after $50 mail-in rebate with one year contract or just $79.99 after rebate and with two-years contract.
