Palm Pre Running WebOS OS
Palm unveils Palm Pre, its next generation smartphone running WebOS operating system.Comes in a curvy slider design, Palm Pre packs a 3.1-inch touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixel resolution. Its slider mechanism hide its phisical qwerty keyboard. Featuring accelerometer, Palm Pre ’s screen is support auto rotate. Palm promise that Pre comes with laptop-style power.
Packs a 8GB flash storage and 3 MP camera, Palm Pre also featuring Wifi b/g, EV-DO Rev.A, GPS and Bluetooth A2DP. More over, Palm Pre will be the first handset that offer wireless charger which lets you use it.
No words on price yet but rumors indicate that Palm Pre might be priced at $399 on contract and around $500 – $550 unlocked.Its release date will be some time in the first half of 2009. Can’t wait for Pre GSM version.
