Its not Scholes or Tao but Motorola decided to call its first Android smartphone as Motorola Droid, well, at least for Verizon. Motorola Droid Sport a 3.7 inch capatitive screen with a 854 x 480pixel resolution, 5MP camera equipped with face detection feature.

Droid is powered by a 500MHz ARM Cortex processor while for UI, Motorola use its own customized UI. Droid will comes in black and titanium color options. Unfortunately Motorola Droid comes without MOTOBLUR, bummer.
