iPhone 3G Released in Indonesia Via Telkomsel

Apple release iPhone 3G products in the market of Indonesia via Telkomsel, the country’s biggest carrier. Users can directly get the products which has IDR 8.6 Million ($731)starting price. And of couse, customers can get their iPhone 3G with a lower price if they agree to sign a 1 year contract for as low as IDR 2,622,000 ($223) for 8GB version and IDR 4,079,000 ($347) for 16GB version.

As after-sales service, Telkomsel provides 1 year warranty. “When the Apple iPhone 3G customers were damaged in the 1 year old, we can replace with a new product,” said Arman Hazairin, Vice President Lifecycle Management Telkomsel on journalists, when Apple launched its iPhone in Pacific Place, Jakarta, 20 March 2009. “Point-point after sales service we can through the Grapari Telkomsel in Indonesia,” he said.

After Jakarta, Telkomsel plans to continue the launch of iPhone in the four other major cities.This is expressed by VP Customer Lifecycle Management Telkomsel, Hazairin Arman, in the event that was held at Pacific Place, Jakarta, on Friday.

While the matter of the iPhone 3.0 will be released in June or July 2009, according to Arman Telkomsel will give free upgrade to all iPhone 3G customers.
