iPhone 3G is Official, release date and price announced too

Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone 3G bat WWDC today. With leaked launch date, specs and price we know before, there are no surprises i this announcement. Mr. Jobs said that its 3G speed is 36% faster for pageload compared to N95 and Treo 750. GPS also confirmed too. One thing we haven’t heard before is that iPhone 3G now suport 3rd party application, so welcome software developers.

Will be available in 8GB flavor and a white colored 16GB version, iPhone 3G will have $199.99 and $299.99 price respectively, with signing contract for sure. Its release date is on July 11th for 22 biggest market while other 50 countries will get the iPhone 3G later this year.

For customer who purchase the 2.5G iPhone on or after May 27th, they can swap their unt with this iPhone 3G with no additional cost.
