The beautiful sleek smartphone HTC OMNI introduced last July, apparently will be used as the Google’s Android demo phone. Inside Google, the phone is named “Dream”which is described as
It is thin, about 3 inches wide and 5 inches long, and features a touch-sensitive, rectangular screen… The bottom end of the handset, near the navigational controls, is slightly beveled so it nestles in the palm. The screen also swivels to one side, revealing a full keyboard beneath. (The screen display changes from a vertical portrait mode to a horizontal display when someone uses the keyboard.)
From the description as the “Dream”, Unwired View belive that the “Dream” is actually the HTC OMNI.

Android is working on the HTC Vogue now too (HTC Touch, HTC Elf, VM6900, whatever name you want to call it).
A site has been started to track its development and includes an easy cab installer, windows installer and notes.
Phone works, browser works, SMS works, theres an on screen keyboard and calls work (with end button working).

Dude, update this post. People have already leaked the real blueprint, specs and even a video of a guy using it.
correcting Eddie Monge, HTC Vogue != HTC Elf, instead totally diff. h/w board.
by the time i wrote this, only vogue was ported successfull; attemps were still trying to port over to Elf.
