Archos 605 wifi and Archos 405 media players are available
As reported by Engadget, Archos 605 wifi and Archos 405 media players are available on the market.
Archos 605 wifi will be available with 4 GB, 30 GB and 160GB storage capacity and priced at $230, $300 and $400 respectively. Measures at 4.8 x 3.2 x 0.6-inches (0.75-inches for 160GB model) and weighs at 9.2 ounces. It’s battery life is claimed can last for 5 hours of continuous video playback or 16 hours for audio.
Archos 605 wifi also pack some features such as streams video from the internet, downloads from content providers (paid and free) and an EPG for recording video.
While Archos 405 is available with no internal memory but has an SD slotand priced at $170.Comes in smaller form factor than the 605, measures at 3.9 x 3.1 x 0.5-inches and weighs at 4.2 ounches. Has the same battery life with 605.
