VIA introducing VIA Nano Processor
VIA introducing its new x86 processor from VIA Nano family at Beijing, China. Build based on VIA Isaiah Architecture, VIA Nano is designed designed for optimized performance for mainstream PC markets and new device types.
To enhance power efficiency, VIA leverages Fujitsu’s advanced 65 nanometer process technology for the Nano. Comes in a compact 21 x 21 mm dimension, VIA Nano only consume 0.1 Watt power when idle. On this feature, President and CEO, VIA Technologies, Inc, Wenchi Chen said :
“VIA Nano processors represent the next generation of x86 technology, providing the fundamental building blocks for a new genre of optimized computing solutions,” “‘Small is Beautiful’ is more than a design strategy; it’s our vision of where the PC market is heading and our new processors will help the market realize that dream.”
