V100 Rugged tablet PC from Getac
Getac take durability on an extreme condition for computing devices seriously. Among other rugged portable pc’s, they develop the V100, a 2.2kg tablet pc which measures at 280 x 220 x 50cm .
Getac V100 comes in two screen size options,10.4” XGA or 12.1” WXGA LCD screen sizes and also optional sunlight readable solutions with digitizer and stylus pen or with the touch screen to accommodate the use under sunlight. Different professional markets require different wireless capabilities so V100 fully supports 3G, WLAN, GPRS and Bluetooth.
Sports an Intel Core Duo 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB DRAM and an 80 GB hard drive which is shielded by a protection mechanism to prevent damage during operation caused by vibration and unexpected drops .The system is protected by a magnesium alloy case to protect the system from damage from airborne dust and debris and can withstand heavy rain and spillages.
