Toshiba Portege M700 tablet pc is announced officially by Toshiba.While Dell is already announcing the release date of its Dell Latitude XT Tablet PC,the Toshiba Portege M700 is already available.

Specs wise, this Toshiba Tablet PC is build on an Intel 965 Express chipset and powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (T7250, T7500, T7700 or T7800), 2GB RAM ( up to 4GB) and 160 GB HDD.it’s 12.1-inch touchscreen is managed by Intel GMA 3100 to deliver WXGA resolution.For optical drive, Portege M700 employee a DVD burner. While for connectivity, there are Wifi a/g/n, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet.

To enhance its security, Portege M700 featuring Intel Active Management Technology (AMT 2.6) and a fingerprint reader with TPM 1.2.Other features including three USB ports, 1.3MP camera, 5-in-1 memory card reader and Firewire port. The Toshiba Portege M700 is pre-installed with Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 .

Three available Toshiba Portege M700 models are Toshiba Portege M700-S7008X which has $1,449 price tag, Portege M700-S7001X priced at $1,699 and Portege M700-S7002 which has $1.799 price.
