Toshiba launched Tecra M8 13.3-Inch Notebook
Toshiba launched Tecra M8-S8011 13.3-inch notebook. Oh yeah, another Intel “Santa Rosa” mobile platform based notebook. Tecra M8-S8011powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor at 1.8GHz,and 1 GB DDR2 memory (expandable up to 4 ?GB) and graphic driven by GM965 chipset with integrated GMA X3100 graphicswhich capable to give 1280 x 800 resolution. For storage, Toshiba packs an 120GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive and to improved system responsiveness, Tecra M8-S8011 also has 1GB Intel Turbo Memory. For optical drive Tecra M8 bring a built-in DVD burner.This “Affordable Mobility” laptop is pre-installed with Windows Vista Business operating system.
Toshiba call Tecra M8 as “Affordable Mobility” laptop with some reason,priced at $1,399, Toshiba Tecra M8 has Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (802.11a/g/draft n), Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and a 56k modem. With all those features M8 only has 4.5 pound weight.
