Roper Duros ruggedized tablet PC
Roper, a manufacturer we hardly ever heard about just launched its fourth generation ruggedized tablet pc which will get a family name Duros. The Roper Duros is a 8.4-inch rugged tablet pc with SVGA resolution powered by a 1.0GHz Intel Celeron M or AMD Geode LX 800 Processor, 1GB RAM, 64GB Flash memory and 40GB HDD. Roper Duros runs Windows XP tablet version. For connectivity, there are Wifi and 3G UMTS and HSDPA.
Designed to survive in an extreme condition, Roper Duros is pass the IP-65 levels for dust and water ingress . While for vibration, functional shock, high and low temperatures and drops. this rugged tablet pc was tested with MIL STD 810F standard.
