Panasonic Toughbook F8, Lightest 3G Notebook
Toughbook F8 is the latest Panasonic’s Toughbook line-up.Comes with a 14.1-inch TFT active matrix Color LCD, Toughbook F8has WXGA ( 1280 x 800 pixel ) resolution. Has 3.7 pounds weight, Toughbook F8 is surely not the lightest notebook in the world, but Panasonic claimed that this Toughbook is the world’s lightest notebook with integrated 3G connectivity module.F8 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 Processor, up to 4 GB of RAM, 160 GB shock mounted HDD and Intel GMA 4500MHD video card.
Other features including DVD burner, Wifi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and spill resistant keyboard. To keep it’s weight light but strong, Panasonic using magnesium alloy material for it’s chasis. Toughbook F8 will be available in November with a $2,499 price tag, including Windows Vista Business OS. [source]
