OLPC XO laptop will be ready at Christmas
OLPC( One Laptop Per |Child) chief technology officer Mary Lou Jepsen told reuters that OLPC is preparing the XO, the OLPC laptop, to hit the American market this christmas. The ‘$100 laptop’ will be priced at…..$350 or maybe $525.What ? the last time I check, it’s production cost is only $176, how can the price rise up to that number
The One Laptop Per Child Foundation’s rugged XO laptop could initially sell for just $350, or twice its production cost, although the group is also considering a $525 price tag
Oh geez, why don’t they sell the ‘$100 laptop for… errr $100 ?
