HP HDX16 and HDX18 laptops unveiled
HP unveiled two new entertainment laptops from the HDX series called HDX16 and HDX18. HDX16 is a 16-inch laptop powered by a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU, 4GB of DDR2 RAMand a 320GB HDD. Its graphic is processed by an NVIDIA’s 512MB GeForce 9600 GT to bring 1,366 x 768 resolution display.Its optical drive is a SuperMulti optical drive . Other features should include Bluetooth, Wifi, Ethernet port, multicard reader, integrated Altec Lansing speakers, ExpressCard slot, four USB 2.0 sockets, audio in / out, HDMI / VGA and a 4-pin FireWire connector.
HP HDX18 has 18-inch screen with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution display.Other specs similar with HDX16 except is storage which is a dual 250 GB HDD and its optical drive which is a Blu-ray drive instead of dual-layer SuperMulti optical drive. HDX16 will be available this month with $1,249 price tag while X18 will be priced at $1,529.[source]
