Eee PC 1000 Announced at Computex

Asus Eee pc 1000 is announced officially at Computex 2008 with two version, dubbed Eee pc 1000 and 1000H.Powered by an Intel Atom N230 processor, 2GB RAM and 40GB flash-based storage, Eee PC 1000 is running Linux . Meanwhile the Eee Pc 1000H is differ on the storage device which replace the 40GB flash-based storage with 80 GB HDD for Windows XP version or 160 GB HDD for Linux version. The Eee PC 1000 and 1000H has $560 price when released in Taiwan late this month.

Asus also showcasing te Eee pc 901, its 8.9-inch Eee pc laptop. While its competitor Acer, launching The Acer Asprire One at the event. Acer Aspire One is expected to have release date in July with $466 price tag.
