Asus U2 Notebook is introduced
Asus introducing its new ultraportable notebook computer dubbed Asus U2. Like its predecessor Asus U1, Asus U2 also comes with LED backlight 11.1-inch screen managed by GMA X3100 integrated graphics to bring 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The Asus U2 is build on an Intel GM965 Express Chipset and powered by a 1.06GHz Intel Core Duo Processor ULV (ultra-low voltage) U7500, up to 4GB RAM and up to 120GB HDD or optionally 32B SSD.
Asus U2 notebook sports Wi-fi feature via its Intel WiFi Link 4965AGN or Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG. Other standard features such as webcam, modem and ethernet are there too.
Comes in polished stainless steel and premium leather casing, the Asus U2 is only weghted at 2.75 pounds and pre-installed with Windows Vista OS. No words on its price and release date yet.
