Asus F8 Notebook Series Announced
F8 Notebook series was announced by Asustek yesterday.The Asus F8 is 14.1-inch notebook build on Intel’s Santa Rosa platform. Runs on Intel PM965 chipset, Intel Core 2 Duo T7700/T7500/T7300/T7100 processor, up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, and up to 160GB SATA hard drive.
Meanwhile, the Asus F8 casing got a special touch by Asustek by adopting The Infusion Technology. Here is what Asustek say “The Infusion Technology is a cutting edge manufacturing process used to produce the unique designs laptop surfaces. Being inlaid within the chassis itself, the motifs are an integral part of the entire laptop and will not fade with time. The Infusion surface also provides a new level of resilience, resisting scratches while looking sleek that the notebook is not only a trusty companion on the road; it also offers greater pleasure to work with,” .
In the graphic side, Asus employe ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600 with 512MB of dedicated video memory or NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS with 256MB discrete VRAM, depending on the configuration.
The F8 also packed with other features such as built in Hybrid TV tunerwhich is capable to receive both analog and digital signals, Wifi, LAN, 1.3 megapixel camera and fingerprint reader with an optional TPM (Trusted Platform Module),
