Acer Aspire AS3690-2970 may be never claimed as a low cost notebook like the $100 laptop or Asus Eee pc, but in fact the Acer Aspire AS3690-2970 is a notebook which has only $299 price tag. Sports a 15.4-inch display, , this Acer Aspire notebook can give you WXGA resolution managed by an Intel GMA 900 graphic chipset. The Acer Aspire AS3690-2970 is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron M 520 processor, 512MB RAM and 80GB HDD.Combo DVD ROM/CDRW is choosen as its optical drive, while for connectivity, there are Wifi b/g, Ethernet LAN and 56K modem.
