Lenovo S12 NetbookAvailable in VIA Nano Flavor

Lenovo releasing a new model of its Lenovo S12 netbook which packs a VIA Nano ULV 2250 processor and VIA Chrome9 HC3 to replace the dynamic duo Intel Atom and GMA 950 chipset. The replacement adds some extra speed but user must trade it with some battery life.
While the Atom/GMA950packed S12 has $500 price, the new model is $50 cheaper including a standard 6 cell battery.

Lenovo’s Ideapad S12 netbook is scheduled to get NVidia ION graphic chipset. But that’s won’t come true until Windows 7 released. Yep, Ideapad S12 is already available but without the ION chipset, so expect to see the ION powered S12…
