HP Mini Note 1000 Released

HP Mini-note 1000, the replacement of HP Mini-note 2133, is released quietly. Available at HP’s online store, HP Mini-note 1000 comes with a 10-inch screen and less than 1-inch thick. Its weight is about 2.25 lbs. There is no solid informatio whether Mini-note 1000 using VIA’s C7-M processor  like the 2133 or using a “common netbook’s processor”, a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU.

In par with what  Jerel Chong, HP Australia’s Market Development Manager for Notebook PCs which said that HP preparing  “a similar device (to the 2133) but at a lower cost … It won’t be as durable but it will be cheaper”, Mini-note 1000 has a $399 starting price. [source]

    i’ve heard the 1000 is not actually a replacement – there’s going to be a new range of 2133s with the Atom processor too.
