Nokia announcing Nokia7070 Prism, Nokia 5000, Nokia 2680 Slider and Nokia 1680 Classic
Nokia release four new handset designed for ‘replacement buyers’ which means for basic phone users who need to replace their handset with a more advanced phone.The first phone is Nokia 7070 Prism, a compact dual-band clamshell which has 128 x 160 pixel screen in 65K colors. The Nokia 7070 prism featuringGPRS support, MP3 ringtones and 1,000 entry phonebook. Will be available in Q3 2008, although it has ‘Prism’ in its name, Nokia 7070 Prism won’t come with an expensive price, yeah you can purchase this Pink or Blue accent phone for around 50 EUR only.
The second phone is the Nokia 5000 is a 11.1 mm thin phone with a 2-inch screen with QVGA resolution in 65K colors. The Nokia 5000 runs S40 UI and featuring GPRS / EDGE connectivity, 1.3 MP camera, FM tuner, media player and Bluetooth. Nokia 5000 will be available in Q2 2008 in Cyber Green, Neon Blue and Perfect Purple with around 90 EUR priceNokia 2680 Slider is a slider phone which support GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 128 x 160 pixels screen, Bluetooth, FM radio and MP3 ringtones.
Nokia 2680 slider will be available in Q3 2008 with Slate Gray, Night Blue, Orange and Violet color casing and will be retailed for 75 EUR price.
Meanwhile, Nokia 1680 classic is another basic phone comes in a candy bar design with 128 x 160 pixels screen in 65K colors. Nokia 1680 classic featuring email client, GPRS/EDGE support and MP3 ringtones. Will be available in this quarter with 50 EUR price, Nokia 1680 classic will be available in Black, Slate Grey, Wine Red and Deep Plum colors.
