Nokia 6212 Classic Featuring NFC
Nokia introducing Nokia 6212 Classic phone yesterday. Comes in a candy bar design, Nokia 6212 Classic sports a 2-inch screen with QVGA resolution. Interestingly, Nokia 6212 Classic featuring integrated NFC ( Near Fiels Communication), awhich will allow user to transfering notes, new content or audio files directly by bring the phone near the other NFC capable device. Here’s explanation from Nokia himself :
Near Field Communication is designed for intuitive, simple and safe interaction between electronic devices. By tapping an NFC-enabled tag, consumers can receive new content such as weblinks, audio files or contact data directly to their phone. They can activate a profile in their handset or open applications such as FM radio or web browser. Photos and videos can easily be shared by tapping another NFC-capable phone and pairing with a Bluetooth NFC-enabled device, like the new NFC variant of the Nokia BH-210 headset, happens with just one touch.
Other features packed to Nokia 6212 include 3G connectivity, a 2 MP camera, FM radio, 22 MB internal memory and a micro SD card slot. Nokia is expected to release 6212 in Q3 2008 with $320 price tag.
