iPhone 3G will be available in 2008
When asked about the availability of the 3G version of the Apple iPhone, Randall Stephenson, AT&T CEO said “you’ll have it next year”. iPhone was criticized for its hi-speed data transfer which is only featuring EDGE rather using faster available technology, yep, 3G (UMTS or better yet 7.2Mbps HSDPA.But of course using such technology will cost us shorter battery life since 3G chips consume lots of power.No price is revealed for this iphone 3G yet.
