Detailed iPhone specs from sales training workbook
Just a couple of weeks before you can get your hands to the long awaited iphone. But before it available at June 29 comes, you can get detailed iPhone feature reported by Macrumors.com from iPhone Training manual provided provided by AT&T employees.
Here’s some feature you might want to know:
- Dial any telephone number with the touch of a finger (2 touch, minimum)
- iPhone lets you carry on a phone conversation while you simultaneously browse the Internet or send an email.
- There is a vibrate mode.
- Threaded SMS conversations
- Error correction and prevention in the keyboard. Only displayed when you need it.
- iPhone users will not be able to conduct IM conversations with instant messaging users ( ouch..)
- Does not support MMS messaging for photos or videos (who need MMS anyway…)
- All videos play in landscape mode
- If you prefer your widescreen content to take up the entire screen, you can double tap the video and iPhone will automatically scale the video to take up the entire screen
- Media Net, MobiTV, or Cellular Video are not available on iPhone
- Support for IMAP and POP3 email
- Support Yahoo! Push Mail
- In Safari, you can have multiple websites open at once and switch between them
- iPhone will not support the TeleNav solutions currently offered by other AT&T devices (another ouch..)
- GPS is not part of the iPhone feature set.
