Altek 8680 Phone, Packs 12MP camera with 3x Optical Zoom

While big names bragging about their 12MP camera phones, Altek -a not-so-well known manufacturer from Taiwan- readying its super camera phone called Altek T8680. Altek 8680 sport a 1/2.33″ 12.2 megapixel CCD image sensor which equipped with a 3x optical zoom lens, 5x digital zoom while its lens has 6.2mm ~ 18.6mm (35mm ~ 105mm, 35mm equivalent) focal length, F3.0 ~ F5.6 aperture. Pretty interesting, eh ?

Altek T8680 phone also packs a large 3″ touchscreen display with 400 x 240 pixel resolution. With September release date for aiwan and China, Altek 8680 will has a $430 price tag.
