Sanyo introducing its new Xacti camcorder dubbed Xacti E2. Comes in a common Xacti camcorder measured at 2.8 x 4.4 x 1.6 inches, Xacti E2 weighs in 9.1 ounces and has a waterproof casing capacble to survive at 5 feet underwater. Xacti E2 capable to record MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video at VGA resolution .For still image, E2 can take 8 megapixel image.while in burst mode, Xacti E2 can take 5 shots per second at 2 MP resolution.Its SDHC card slot can take up to 8 GB card capable to store 8 hours of video or 2000 still images at 8 MP resolution.
Sony TG3E Camcorder, Small 1080i Camcorder
Sony unveiled its smallest 1080i camcorder called Sony TG3E. Support Full HD 1080i resolution, TG3E comes in a sleek compact body. In America, TG3E is called Sony TG1. This compact camcorder is retailed at $900 price. With a Sanyo Xacti look-a-like design, TG3e Still can’t beat the size and weight of Xacti as you can see on the picture above.

Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG9 Camcorder eith 9.1 MP Sensor
Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG9 is released in Korea market. The new Xacti camcorder boasts a 9.1MP CMOS sensorand 2.5-inch LCD screen. This Sanyo compact camcorder has 5.5 times optical zoom and image stabilizer. Capable to record VGA movie with 60 fps, Xacti VPC-CG9 can simultaniously take a 2 MP still image at the same time.
Sanyo Xacti CG9 Using CMOS Sensor
Sanyo introduced its new Xacti video camera dubbed Xacti CG9.Comes in a wellknown Xacti design, Xacti CG9 is designed for woman. Equipped with 9.1 MP sensor, Sanyo change its sensor from CCD which was used in the previous Xacti models to CMOS sensor. The good news is, Xacti CG9 still provide decent video quality and great photo quality.
Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD700 Camcorder
Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD700 digicam was introduced and will be available from October 19th in Japan. Comes in same body design with Xacti CA65 digicam ( in US known as E1), HD700 only capable to produce 720p HD, not 1080p as in Xacti DMX-HD1000. The video procuced by HD700 is compatible with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format.
For capturing still image, Xacti DMX-HD700 capable to to give 7.1MP resolution, same resolution as in Xacti VPC-HD2 compact camcorder .All pictures and video captured will be stored to a SD/SDHC memory card which is included on the sales package.
Sanyo improved the HD700 portability by reducing it’s dimension by 10% and its weight by 16% to be just 189 grams.

Sanyo release a new high-definition camcorder the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD2, it’s a successor of the last year model Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1.
Xacti VPC-HD2 is so compact with weight only 1.4 pounds but has a large 2″ LCD screen.Beside taking HD video, it’s also capable to take 7.1 MP still image. Image stabilization is handled digitally.
