TomTom Go 740 LIVE Available, ONE 140 and XL 340 Released This Month
TomTom Go 740 LIVE , an Internet-connected GPS is finally available in the US. Introduced at CES show this year, TomTom Go 740 LIVE will be available some time in Mid April. Go 740 Live sport a 4.3 inch screen, 2GB internal memory, microSD card slot, TeleAtlas maps, photo viewer and an instant messaging apps. But its greatest feature is its connected navigation system.
With this, 740 Live can download traffic report and accident reports to let you choose a bettter route. The system also capable to download fuel prices, weather reports. Other cool feature is TomTom IQ Routes which calculates your commute time using other users transit times.
TomTom GO 740 LIVE has $399.95 price tag while its LIVE service is available for $9.95 per month.
On a separate announcement, Tomtom announcing its new GPS devices called TomTom ONE 140 and XL 340 series. Both are packed with TomTom IQ Routes feature.
ONE 140 / ONE 140s sport a 3.5 inch display and 140S sport speech function to announcestreet and place. One 140 will has $179.95 price tag when released sometime this month while Tomtom One 140s will be priced at $199.95.
While XL 340 /XL 340S sport 4.3 inch display and basically the same device. XL 340 will has $229.95 price and $249.95 for XL 340S.
