Sony PRS-505 eBook Reader

Watch out Kindle, Sony has just introducing its new eBook reader on their release date. The new device is called PRS-505, PRS stands for Portable Reader System. PRS-505 will be the first ebook reader which support EPUB format. EPUB has gained acceptance among major trade book publishers, many of whom have committed to begin publishing forthcoming ebooks in the format.

PRS-505 also support Adobe eBooks with DRM (PDF Reflow), and Adobe Digital Editions. Will be available next month, PRS-505 will comes in Red, Black and Silver edition with $300 price tag.

The Reader Digital Book by Sony is a portable reading device for eBooks. Its high-resolution electronic paper display delivers a realistic print look that rivals traditional paper and uses minimal power. A single battery charge provides up to 7,500 pages of continuous reading.
