HP release ipaq 310 Portable GPS Navigator to US
HP Ipaq 310 GPS Navigation device is released in the US for $400.Ipaq 310 comes in .4 x 4.3 x 0.7 inches dimension,weighs at 2.3 pounds and has 4.3-inch screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. Powered by the fastest processor 600Mhz with its SiRF Titan dual core processor, the IPaq 310 has 128MB RAM and 2GB ROM. For connectivity, there are a mini USB port Bluetooth.
Beside HP navigation software with text to speech guidance and web based trip planning software, this portable gps navigation device also pre-installed with video player, music player, , picture viewer, games and many more.

The most interesting feature on the GPS navigator is the 3-D mapping software. For certain, select cities, maps don’t simply appear as lines in a 2-D space (not even a tilted, almost 3-D space). Instead, you get actual 3-D models of buildings filling the city space. We can’t imagine populating an entire globe’s worth of buildings, but in our hands-on experience mapping trips through London, we were quite impressed at the range of buildings represented, and the graphical prowess of the small navigator.
