Elevated Standard, a new Receiver series from Sony
Sony Electronics launched new AV receivers in ES (Elevated Standard) series. The ES series offers compatibility with the latest audio formats. Comes in three models STR-DA5300ES, STR-DA4300ES and STR-DA3300ES 7.1 channel with iPod integration.
All three new ES receivers offer the Cortez Advanced controller featuring Faroudja DCDi Cinema technology to upscales all video sources to 1080p via HDMI. And also support both 1080/60p and 24p video formats and upscale video via HDMI up to 1080p (composite, S-video, component and HDMI).
Other features include BRAVIA Theatre Sync technology, Digital Cinema auto calibration with stereo microphone, and Portable Audio Enhancer. The models are also Sirius and XM Connect-and-Play ready. The STR-DA3300ES is priced at $1,000, while the STR-DA4300ES goes for $1,300 and $1,700 for STR-DA5300ES.
