Pentax Optio Z10 and Optio S10 Specs, Price and Release Date

Pentax Optio Z10

Pentax Optio Z10 and Optio S10 are two new digital cameras announced recently by Pentax. The Optio Z10 has 8 MP CCD sensor, 7x optical zoom,2.5-inch LCD screen, up to 2100 ISO and 52 MB internal memory. The Optio Z10 also featuring digital anti shake, face recognition, and SDHC compatibility.

Meanwhile, the Optio S10 has 10 MP CCD sensor, 2.5-inch LCD display and has ability to shoot DivX MPEG-4  but the S10 only has 3x optical zoom and 22MB internal memory. The S10 also has digital anti shake, face recognition, and SDHC compatibility..

The Optio Z10 and S10 release date is next September with $250 price tag. But if you prefer a longer optical zoom, say 10x with a little additional price, you have Sony DSC-H3 as an option
