C-Motech Mangrove Tablet get a Review

Snapdragon powered tablet from C-Motech called Mangrove is on the good hand of Slashgear to get their review. And its seems like the Slashgear guy didn’t impressed by the Mangrove. First of all is its snapdragon performance which is outperformed when compared to HTC HD2 which also packs 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Its shape also unimpressive, when stacked against the Quanta Android Smartbook, it looks too thick.

Moreover its 7-inch touchscreen only deliver a 800 x 480 pixel resolution which i’m sure too low for the most of us. Oh, one more thing,Mangrove runs on Windows Mobiloe 6.5 OS.

ICD Vega, a new Android powered Tablet is launched by ICD. Running Google Android 2.0 (Eclair) OS, ICD Vega sport a 15.6 inch touchscren displayand powered by an NVIDIA Tegra processor, 512MB of RAM and 512MB flash storage.For storage expansion, there’s a MicroSD card slot.

ICD Vega packs Wifi b/g and 3G support for connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 2.1. Other features including a 1.3MP webcam, accelerometer, dual digital microphones, and ambient light sensor and a magnetic dock which useful for charging and syncing. Its release dae will be sometime next year.

The eviGoup Pad is a 10.2 inch tablet which runs on Windows 7 and powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and offer 3G as well as Wifi a/b/g connectivity. Acer Aspire 1420p tablet has been announced in China at a press event. This Acer’s tablet pc offer a 11.6 inch LED-backlit multitouch screen which offer WXGA resolution and powered by an Intel Celeron processor, up to 8GB of RAM and a 320 GB HDD.For connectivity there are Wifi b/g/n, Bluetoorh and optional 3G. Otherfeatures including multi card reader and a webcam.No price and release date announcedso far but we pretty sure thas Aspire 1420p will hits the US market sooner or later.

A new tablet pc called LBook T9 will enter the market soon. The 8.9″ tablet pc offer 1,024 x 600 resolution and maybe preloaded with Windows 7 OS. Boast a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Z530 pocessor, 2GB RAM and a 120GB HDD, there are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity while 3G module is optional. Will be released next March, LBook T9 will has a $375 price tag.

Kohjinsha announced its new tablet pc called Kohjinsha EX6. Sport a 11.6 inch LED-backlit capacitive resistive touchscreen, EX6 use 945GSE chipset to bring a 1366×768 pixels resolution to its screen. EX6 is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, 2GB ofRAM and 160GB HDD.

Other features including Wifi n, gigabit ethernet, dual camera, two USB ports,DVD drive, Expresscard slot ans a SDHC/microSDHC card slot.Kohjinsha EX6 will be retailed with a 59,800 JPY price tag which when translated to USD will be around $635. EX6 will be released later this month.[source]

Roper upgrading its rugged tablet pc called Duros 8404.
Arrives with a 8.4 inch touchscreen which has SVGA resolution, Duros 8404 boast touchscreen display which now has 1,100 nit and 120-degree viewing angle.
This means that its screen is readable even under direct sunlight.

Powered by an Intel Atom processor, its chassis is made from aluminum to keep it lightweight.
Its battery is hot-swappable. Still no words on its release date nor price.

A misterious Apple’s new netbook -or tablet pc- is surfaced, again, this time at China Times. China Times claim that this Apple’s netbook with boast a 9.7 inch touchscreen and expected to be available this October.

With its 9.7 inch touchscreen, I personally prefer to call it tablet pc than netbook. And if China Times’s claim is true, you’ll love this Apple’s tablet more and more since the report says its price will be $800.

This Apple tablet will be manufactured by Foxconn.
