Sony NV-U83T and NV-U73T Navigation Devices

Sony launching two new personal navigation devices called NV-U73T which is priced at $300 and a top-end model with $400 price called NV-U83T.Both models adopts some navigation features to be used in a car like text-to-speech voice commands and real-time-traffic capability.The NV-U83T comes with 4.8-inch touchscreen while the NV-U73T has 4.3-inch touchscreen, both has 16:9 aspect ratio display.

Other valuable features on both Nav-U Navigation devices including Position Plus which provides constant, more accurate positioning and interruption-free guidance even when GPS signal is low. Both NV-U73T and NV-U83T are available at Sony’s online store and Sony Style retail stores.

Nokia 6210 Navigator is introduced at WCM Barcelona as the siuccessor of the Nokia 6110 Navigator. With its GPS navigation system as its main feature, Nokia introducing Nokia Map 2.0 application in the 6210 Navigator. The Nokia Maps 2.0 offering more detai maps like pedestrian and accelerometer which will update maps even when you’re walking.

Along with its GPS navigation, the Nokia 6210 Navigator offer HSDPA connectivity, FM radio, bluetooth 2.0, 3.2MP camera and a microSD card slot to expand its 120MB internal memory. The Nokia 6210 Navigator will be available in the third quarter of this year for $435 price including a 1GB microSd card and a car mount.

No, Asus is not neglecting its US customers with its Asus R700 GPS navigation device.While R700 will hit Europe by the end of this year, It won’t take long to arrive to America since its appear on FCC’s site and will get FCC’s approval soon.Asus R700 is a GPS unit with 4.3-inch touchscreen and has micro SD slot, handsfree Bluetooth kit and RDS / TMC traffic info.And yes, it has media player capabilities too. No words on its price and release date for America, but for Europe which will be get thid GPS device this month, the R700 is priced at 400-500 EUR.
