Motorola reveal a new rugged phone dubbed Motorola Quantico. Meet military specification 810F, Motorola Quantico offer casing made from rubber, chrome, glass and mesh. Thr rugged design make Quantico survived even when dunked in the water for up to 30 minutes in 1 meter depth.

Come in a clamshell phone design, Motorola Quantico sport a 2.2 inch internal display with 176 x 220 resolution and an external display with a 120 x 160 pixels resolution. The phone support CDMA 1700/2100 and 800/1900 EVDO connectivity. Other features including 1.3MP camera, Music player, 2.5mm headset jack, stereo Bluetooth, GPS and a MicroSD cad slot. Will be available by the end of this year, threre’s still no words on its price yet.

Samsung readying two new dual SIM phone scheduled to be released next month in Europe. Will be included in Samsung Duo phone series, the two new dual SIM phone called Samsung B5722 and C6112.

Samsung B5722 is a touchscreen phone packs a 2.8 inch display with QVGA resolution and come with TouchWiz Lite 1.0. The first SIM works on 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz networks while the second SIM support 900 / 1 800 MHz band.Other features including MP3 player, FM radio, 3.2MP camera and a MicroSD card slot which support up to 8GB card.

Samsung C6112 on the other hand is a slider phone with a 2.4 inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, Music player and a MicroSD card slot ( up to 8GB). For connectiv ity, there’s quad-band GSM/EDGE support.

Samsung M3310, a dual slider phone from the company is appear in a press photo along with Samsung B3410. Samsung M3310 come with a 2.1 inch display which offer a QVGA resolution, dedicated external music control, 3.5 mm headset jack, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, MicroSD card slot, 3.2MP camera and FM radio with RDS. No words on price and release date but Europe will receive M3310 pretty soon.

Samsung B3410, on the other hand is a touchscreen phone with Touchwiz 2.0 UI and packs a 2.6 inch display with QVGA resolution, full QWERTY keyboard, 2MP Camera, 30MB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, FM radio and a 2MP camera. For connectivity, Samsung B3410 packs Bluetooth 2.1 and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity.

Samsung Mythic and Samsung Flight are two new touchscreen phone from Samsung offered by AT&T.

Samsung Mythic sport a 3.3 inch touchscreen display , virtual qwerty keyboard, touchwiz UI,3.2MP camera, 3G support, stereo Bluetoth, finger zoom and AT&T Navigator as well as AT&T Mobile TV. Samsung Mythic is offered with a $199.99 price tag after $50 rebate.

Samsung Flight also sport touchscreen display although smaller than Mythic’s, full qwerty keybard, 2MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, AT&T Navigator but unfortunately no 3G support. Samsung Flight has $99.99 price tag after $50 rebate.

Nokia Introducing Five New Affordable Phones

Nokia has just unveiled not one but five new affordable phones at the same time. The five new phones called Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616, Nokia 1800, Nokia 2220 slide and Nokia 2690.

Nokia 1280 is a GSM phone with S30 UI and packs a 96 x 68 pixels monochrome display. Nokia 1280 isequipped with flashlight, alarm, Its release date in Indonesia will be sometime in December 2009.

Nokia 1616 and Nokia 1800 both packs a 128 x 160 pixels color displays and offering flashlight, FM radio and support for Nokia Life Tools. While Nokia 1616 will has a €24, Nokia 1800 will be priced at €26 .

Nokia 2220 slide is a cheap slider phone with a 128 x 160 pixels color display and packs MP3 player, MMS, FM radio, 3.5 mm headset jack, VGA camera and 32MB internal memory. For connectivity, there’s Bluetooth andGPRS support. Nokia 2220 Slide will has a €45 price tag.

Nokia 2690 is a candybar phone equipped with MP3 player, MMS, FM radio, 3.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth MicroSD card slot which capable to hold up to 8GB card and EDGE connectivity. Nokia 2690 will be priced at €54.

Nokia X3 the affordable music phone from Nokia which was announced last September is finally get approval from FCC. Nokia X3 is a slider music phone with a 2.2 inch QVGA display and dedicated music keys along with stereo speakers and stereo FM radio and a 3.5 mm headset jack. X3 packs a 3.2MP camera with flash and a MicroSD card slot where a 2GB card will be included in the retail box.

No words on price as well asrelease date for the US while Europe will sell the Nokia X3 with a €115 ($169) price unlocked.

Nokia taking China cellular market seriously. The company recently announcing its first TD-SCDMA phone called Nokia 6788. Nokia 6788 runs on Symbian 60 OS and offer a 2.8 inch QVGA display, MicroSD card slot and a 5MP autofocus camera which equipped with LED flash.Nokia 6788 comes in a chinese flavoured design. Its release date will be sometime in December.

The new phone packs a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display and comes in a slim (11.9 mm) casing.Samsung know that we need to connect to internet, so S5560 offer GPRS, EDGE, Wifi and Bluetooth 2.1 conectivity, sorry no 3G.
