Sony PSP-3000 has Microphone
Sony is readying a new version of PSP called PSP-3000. Its picture is surface at PSPChina.net which unveil a new PlayStation button which presumably a shortcut to its homescreen. Another new addition is a built-in microphone.

OK, So there are lots of space unused in your PS3 40GB storage. But guess what ? That’s won’t stop Sony from preparing a 80GB Core Pack version on its famous PS3 console. Just in case you need this PS3 version, mark your calendar for its release date somewhere in September. It will be priced at $399.99 though.
PS3 Firmware Update 2.40
From Sony’s official PlayStation blog we finally has confirmation that the in-game access to the XMB will be included to the PS3 firmware update 2.40. The firmware update 2.40 also including trophies—the PS3’s version of achievements and “some other new enhancements.”. Availability of the PS3 firmware update 2.40 is not unveiled yet.

Nintendo DS2 is in the works
We can expect to see the Nintendo DS2 or DS Extreme at E3 2008. At least thats the prediction of Hirokazu Hamamura, the head of gigantic Japanese gaming mag Famitsu’s parent company.What would we get from the DS extreme anyway ? There are no clue actually, so make your wish….

PS3 Play Divx and WMV
The new PS3 firmware 2.10 is offer Divx and WMV video file playback to from the console.The player will play files stored in the console’s HDD or from network (DLNA). But there are limitation to the files size supported to by player which is max 2GB. Other limitation is Divx 3.11 and DRM WMv is not supported yet.
The new firmware also upgrading its blu-ray profile to 1.1. If only there are a backgammon game available. You know why ? Because I am addicted like to play backgammon online from online backgammon site. You know that PS3 can do online gaming right ? [akihabaranews]
