Android is gone wild and now Hardkernel, a company you might never heard of, is playing with Android a bit to port the OS to its game platform and media player. Odroid, the handheld gaming is still in concept stage so far but its specs is promising. Odroid packs the same processor as the iPhone 3GS which is a 600MHz Samsung S5PC100 ARM Cortex A8 CPU and comes with a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen in 480 x 800 pixel resolution, Wifi b/g, HDMI output ( 720p), composite video output , microSD and SD card slot.[source]

The existence of PS3 Slim is confirmed by Sony on stage at GamesCom today. 32% smaller than the Original PS3, PS3 Slim also consume 34% less power. North America andEurope will be the first regions to receive it with September 1st release date while Japan at September 3rd

Its price will be $300 for North America, 300 Euro for Europe and 29,980 Yen for Japan. PS3 Slim packs all features cramped to regular PS3 and packs 120GB HDD.[source]

Never and I said never think that you had enough of the Chinese Gadget Clone. The latest gadget we see today is a clone of Sony’s PSP-2000 called Venus JXD300.Amd as you may expect, Venus JXD300 can’t play PSP’s game but GBA and NES games instead. On the plus side, this clone capable to play RMVB, RM, AVI, MPG, FLV video files as well as VCD files, er.. you know what VCD is don’t you ?

Sony PSP Go is officially announced at E3 show this week. Sony announcing its detailed specs which include 128 x 16.5 x 69 mm dimension, 5.6 ounces weight, 3.8 inch display with 480 x 272 resolution, 333MHz processorand 64MB memory as well as 1GB storage. PSP Go also packs Wifi b, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Memory Stick Micro slot and analog video out.

PSP Go will be released on October 1st for North America and Europe with $249 price while Japan’s release date is set to November 1st.

PSP Go, the next generation of Sony’s PSP is emerged and ready to be launched at E3 this week. Unlike its predecessor, PSP Go comes in slider design and sport a 3.8 inch display and still packs single analog joystick, sadly. PSP Go arrives without UMD but boasts 16GB internal flash memory as well as Memory Stick Micro slot. Other features including integrated Bluetooth module which support handset tethering and BT headsets. More over, the new PSP is incredibly 43% lighter than PSP-3000.

Sony Computer Entertainment America announcing that PS2 game console will get a big price cut starting today, April 1st. The new price of PlayStation 2 will be EUR 99.99 for Europe and $99.99 for America. Yeah now PS2 is more affordable but don’t you think that its a little to late ? More over, lets hope its not an April Mop from Sony.

Meet Zeebo, a new game console designed spicially for developing countries. Although Zeebo is a new comer in the game console world, it already got support from giant game publishers in the gaming industry like Mobile Electronic Arts, Namco Networks, PopCap Games, and THQ.

Zeebo will be released on April 2009 in Brazil and then Russia, India and China as well as other develiping countries.

“We feel honored to get the support of this giant. Content is important in launching a new console, and support the effect of this brand and they will take to make us realize a dream can bring the game to billions of people,” said John F. Rizzo, CEO Zeebo.

More over, Zeebo game console support 3G connectivity to give users multiplayer games and content for distribution.
