Cherrypal Africa, a $99 Priced 7″ Netbook

A sub $100 netbook called Africa is introduced by its maker, Cherrypal. Interestingly, Cherrypal Africa is offered with a $99 price and already available now. ‘Africa’ packs a 7 inch display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution. Sure you can’t expect too much with that price but I guess its sufficient for guys who can’t afford more.

While Barnes & Noble readyed their own ebook reader which packs dual display, Ectaco release its own ebbok reader which claimed that Barnes & Noble is the only place to buy the e-books. Called JetBook Lite, the reader packs a 5-inch reflective TFT and 100MB internal memory. There’s an SD card slot to expand the storage. Ectaco jetBook Lite support Ectaco jetBook Lite language. Uniquely, jetBook Lite didn’t packs any internal battery but using four AA battery to power it instead. jetBook Lite is sold with a $149.99 price tag.
